I snuck into bars all the time when I was on the streets. The really shitty ones that had a million more reasons to be shut down than a 14 year old walking around. They served me and everything.

And it wasn't horrible hanging out in dive bars, don't be a priss. The worst ones usually had mutants around who'd beat down anyone who didn't like them showing it, so you could do what you wanted. I mean, I always did what I wanted back then, but doing it inside and not getting my ass chased down by the cops for it made a nice change.

[Petre is an interesting puzzle, there's no denying that. But John's never had the patience for puzzles. Only if it really comes down to need, if his continued existence at this school is put in genuine danger by their ongoing war.]
