What if I was holding a stick and poked you with it? Does that count as touching you if it's an extension of my arm? What if a trans person goes to touch you? Do you react based on their biology or on their self-identity? Or would it be your first impression of them? What if I had a prosthetic and touched you with it? What if I shape shifted? Can a male animal touch you or does it have to be a human?
