[he has to remember to focus on what's ahead when the images flood his mind. Hair, sure. That works. When he answers he decides not to us his voice; tests how far Ryan's power goes when it comes to picking up things from other people's minds.]

Start slow. Just to stimulate you. Make sure you don't get second thoughts. (fingers digging into hair. Brushing, pulling. His lips on Ryan's skin. A sound.) I'll use my hands and mouth. Then we can figure out what's next. What shuts out the noise and what doesn't.

[It works well enough- it's almost easier for him to 'listen' mentally than it is for him to hear actual words- and once he's picked up those images they're added onto, like he's unconsciously continuing the thought. Lips on skin shift into an eager kiss before it slips back into the thoughts he's not projecting, and the soft sigh he breathes out makes it obvious that method's just a bit more distracting.]

...yeah. Yeah, shouldn't be too hard to just go with that.

It's the only time I'll do this to help you.

[then he only cares about getting what he wants.]

[It's happening at all, he considers that good enough- and it's way too early to ask if that means this is the only time he ever intends to do this. He doesn't even know yet if he'll want to ask.

Ryan carefully tests the knob of the first room he comes to-- no dice-- and starts moving on to the others, giving each a quick turn.]

We'll see.

[he doesn't trust anyone to be as uncaring as he is. And he follows ryan closely behind, hands in his pockets. looks behind and ahead every now and then, making sure the corridors are dark and empty.]

[It's not like he hasn't done it before. Of course, those were different situations.

It takes a few, but finally he finds a door someone didn't even bother to close all the way, left almost-but-not-quite latched, and grins back at Petre.]

Looks like we get the math room.

I hate math. [he pushes the door open for him, lets him step inside first. His hands are in his pockets again when he follows and nudges the door closed with his foot, soft click behind them. He starts to take off his jacket, drops it on the first desk.]
