Think you can manage "John?"

[That's pretty much the joke, that the teachers make it so much more complicated when his name is fucking John. But he nods in satisfaction, relieved that at least one teacher here can be normal.

Or his version of it, anyway, which apparently involves organized crime backgrounds.]

You know that I could just take off again, in the middle of the night this time, and it'd get pinned on you since you took responsibility for me. Sure you wanna trust me like that?

[This is a good thing, he shouldn't be sabotaging it, but there are whole batteries of tests to be run even once John genuinely likes someone. People are never really through being tested for his approval.]
