Do I look like I care? Ryan, [he lifts one hand, lets it drop again.] I have no secrets.

[Except if a teacher gets a sample they'll both be in a lot of trouble. But at least that means Petre won't go down alone.

[Ryan considers that for a moment- but it's a token thing, honestly. He feels like he should at least pretend he actually needs to think about it before he finally nods.]

Really. [He's being so genuine that Petre's wondering if he isn't full of shit instead.] ... You think I'm kidding, don't you.

[he should have, but he has a chronic case of too much trust and not enough suspicion, and that's not something he really wants to turn down.

[He steps forward, slowly, hands idly sitting in his pants pockets.]

[That faintly worried expression falls back into a relieved smile as he matches that movement, taking a step or two of his own. A little hesitant-- he's not quite used to this, not entirely sure how it's supposed to go-- but willing enough.]

[Petre thinks he's fucking weird, offering up his virginity like that - either that or a liar. It could be a compliment.]

Give it a couple of days. Tell me how you feel once you've actually thought about it.

[Weird isn't too far off-base. Curious might be more like it, but really, either way's probably accurate-- and the suggestion gets another breathless little huff of a laugh.]

[he knows that won't happen, but it's worth seeing if that'll get to ryan.]

[He's worrying at his lip again, but- shit, they work with teenagers, surely they know it's a risk. They wouldn't. Shouldn't.]

[And maybe he hasn't known him long, but he has the feeling the guy's toed the line in ways that beat 'fooling around'. He's got that kind of vibe.]

[To which Petre smiles knowingly, and then laughs. It almost sounds good-natured, but - it obviously isn't. Not when it's John, not when this is Petre.]

That's true. [A hand goes in his pocket, and he shrugs one shoulder.] Think we could top him? Make school history.

I don't know if that's the kind of history I really want to make.

[He sounds amused, at least- hell of a way to get kicked out, if it had to happen at all.]

I'm not totally allergic to risk, here, but that type's probably a little much for me.

Well, Ryan - if nothing else, I can promise you I don't do anything half-assed.

[He pauses there for a moment, before abruptly asking-]

So what exactly are you planning on doing, anyway? I mean, how- no, I know how, mechanically anyway. What should I expect.

[The sound he produces is a little more dignified than a snort, but the feeling is close enough.]

A good time? Fuck, I don't know. I just do whatever I want.

[Whatever feels right, whatever makes the other enjoy it as much as he does. He can be considerate enough in that department.]

You'd be fucking me, if that's any comfort.

[The idea of him doing whatever he wants is honestly a little appealing, in ways Ryan isn't really certain of- he shakes it quickly, but a little slips through mentally anyway, just a brief touch of a curious feeling. Nothing with any influence, not the emotion itself, more an impression of it that's almost like a thought.]

I can work with that. Not like I've tried it out, I don't really have a preference one way or the other.

I'd tell you what I like and don't like. And I wouldn't be too gentle about it.
